Ignite SF Meetup
Thursday Jan 06, 2011 10:00 PM
Ignite SF seeks to redefine community by bringing together people around three core principles:
- Change: personal transformation and world impact
- Community: deep, profound, lasting community
- Charge: discovery of individual purposes and passions
Although a community of faith, we're not a church. In fact, we welcome all people, especially those who have been away from “church” and frustrated with “religion.”
We'd love to connect over drinks to start discussions around how we can redefine community that can make San Francisco a better place.
We're right now mostly Asian-American professionals, singles and some newlyweds, and would love to fire up some conversations and friendships with all sorts of people and all sorts of spiritual inclinations.
"Religion is for people who are scared to go to hell. Spirituality is for people who have already been there." Bonnie Raitt

"great! that's an interesting word "quasi-alchemical" -- but always interested in people seeking their purpose, social change, and community"
"Ignite SF is a regular gathering of "imperfect people being renewed, redefining community, and restoring the world." What topic or question most provokes you?"

This group doesn't have any past Meetups, yet.
